Hello, I previously opened the back cover of the laptop because the fans were dusty and cleaned it but it was very difficult to open the cover and two of the tabs on the back cover broken because of this. Does this void the warranty? Also,is there a second SSD slot in this model?

Your notebook only has support for one M.2 NVMe SSD.

 

Regarding the warranty:

I recommend you contact HP customer service and seek an official answer from HP.
