@vinay951, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing microphone issues again on your HP Laptop 15s-fr5007TU (6P130PA) even after replacing it in December 2024, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
Check Microphone Settings in Windows:
- Go to Settings > System > Sound.
- Under Input, make sure the correct microphone is selected.
- Click Device Properties and test the microphone.
Run the Windows Troubleshooter:
- Open Control Panel > Troubleshooting > Hardware and Sound > Troubleshoot audio recording.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Check Microphone Privacy Settings:
- Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone.
- Ensure Microphone access for this device is turned on.
- Also, allow apps to access your microphone.
Update or Reinstall Audio Drivers:
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
- Right-click your audio device (e.g., Realtek or Intel SST) and choose Update driver.
- If updating doesn’t help, try Uninstall device, then restart your laptop to reinstall it automatically.
BIOS and Firmware Update:
- Visit the HP Support page.
- Download and install the latest BIOS and firmware updates.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
