I cannot pair a Mouse 480 Bluetooth to my pc. 
It is seen under HPMOuse 480 and when apiring through Bluetooth menu, it does not complete the procedure. 
I wanted to contact HP support but the S/N (print on label under the mouse and from its box) is not recosgnised so it's not possible to submit a support request.

It sounds frustrating not being able to complete Bluetooth pairing with your HP Mouse 480, and even more so when the serial number isn’t recognized during HP support registration. Here’s how we recommend you proceed in this situation.

Fix Bluetooth Pairing for HP 480 Mouse

The HP 480 Comfort Bluetooth Mouse can connect to up to 3 devices, but pairing can fail if the process isn’t followed exactly.
 

1. Prepare the Mouse

  • Insert a fresh AA battery and ensure the power switch is ON.
  • Press and hold the Connect button (usually on the bottom) for 3–5 seconds until the LED blinks white. This means it’s in pairing mode.


2. Pair on Windows

  • Go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Add device → Bluetooth.
  • Select HP Mouse 480 from the list.
  • If prompted for a PIN, enter 0000.
  • Wait for the status to show Connected.


3. If Pairing Fails

  • Remove the device from Bluetooth settings and try again.
  • Restart both the PC and the mouse.
  • Move the mouse closer to the PC and turn off other Bluetooth devices to avoid interference.
  • Update Bluetooth drivers via Device Manager.
