I ran a diagnostics test on my laptop, and it tells me I have a memory issue. what do I do to fix this?

HP Recommended

If your notebook has two memory modules installed, you will have to identify and replace the defective memory module.

 

If it only has one, then you will need to replace it.

 

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the memory removal and replacement procedure.
