Hi @Camorton,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP All-in-One touchscreen PC suddenly went black and won’t turn back on, here are some steps to help diagnose and potentially fix the issue:

1. Check Power Supply

  • Make sure the power cable is securely connected to both the PC and the wall outlet.
  • Try a different power outlet.
  • If you have a power adapter, check for any LED indicator—if it's off, the adapter might be faulty.

 2. Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Unplug the power cord from the PC.
  2. Press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds.
  3. Plug the power cord back in and try turning it on.

3. Look for Signs of Life

  • Do you hear fans spinningbeeps, or see LED lights?
    • If yes, the screen might be the issue.
    • If no, it could be a power or motherboard issue.

4. Try an External Monitor

If your model supports HDMI out:

  • Connect an external monitor or TV.
  • If the external display works, the built-in screen or backlight may be faulty.

5. BIOS or Hardware Reset (if accessible)

  • Some HP All-in-Ones have a BIOS reset button or a CMOS battery that can be reset.
  • Let me know your exact model number, and I can guide you through this.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
