I was using my HP laptop when it switched off randomly. This happened a few days ago. It didn't run out of charge, as I had been charging it at the time. Please help I need my laptop

@Hithereimnice, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Charger Issues

Check if the charger is working properly.

Try another charger if you have one.

Battery Problem

If your battery is removable, take it out and try running the laptop with just the charger.

Software Glitch

Try restarting in Safe Mode to see if it shuts off again.

Update drivers (especially battery and graphics).

Hardware Issue

Run a hardware diagnostic (press F2 or Esc when the laptop starts).

Run a extensive system test.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
