I know that much, but he said that inside my notebook now there were 2 brand new 8GB RAM from HP. That's what he charged me at least, but he put only that Samsung one because I'm 100 % sure the 8GB Smart one came with my PC. And he is saying that he put those 2 because mine had come with 2 x 4GB from the manufacturer.

That is normal manufactures can give up to 5 years warranty but laptop vendors only give 1 year warranty. Did you buy your machine from a shop with a proper sealed box ?
Regards.

Sorry, I can not say anything more, now is between you and the guy, sounds like you bought a secondhand machine.
Regards.

It's okay; you've already helped me a lot. I know I didn't explain my problem very well, but you could help me anyway. I'm from Uruguay, and I'm currently living in Brazil. I have my accent, so the guy probably thought that I was here on vacation and charged me a ton of money for things that were not new nor there. Ignorance is hard, if you don't know something, you are at risk of being robbed by someone who does. Not every person likes to help or do their job with their heart. Some people have no character. And I came across one of them.
I have had my notebook already for 6 years. I bought it new from an HP Store in Miami, and it was slow as hell. I took it there to give it an upgrade, and the man charged me for 2 HP 8GB RAMs and a 1TB SnaDisk SDD. All new. He didn't give me any box, and gave me a 1-year guarantee. And didn't give me back what he took from my PC. And I know for sure that when you buy something new in any store, you go home with the box. Because it has the guarantee, right? You don't buy a hairdryer, and they take the box away before giving it to you. and less in the case of a memory that can one day contain a lot of information an maybe stops working and you have no way to contact the manufacturer. I appreciate your time trying to help really. HP support in Brazil couldn't help because I bought my PC in USA, and HP USA can't help because I'm in Brazil sooo... thanks again.

Sorry I have to say one more thing: machine is 6 years old, no more warranty from HP. Again, now between you and the guy who did and upgrade for you. I don't know that guy therefore I can not comment on him. Normally he did not sell you parts, in this case he may charge you his work (labor cost) on the top and this can be anything from free to only God knows.
Regards
