HI,

 

I was not able to install the windows 11 update: 2025-03 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems(KB5053656). The install error message is - 0x800f081f. Please help.

Hi:

 

Try installing the standalone update package from the Microsoft Update catalog:

 

March 27, 2025— KB5053656 (OS Build 26100.3624) Preview - Microsoft Support

 

It provides the instructions and the link to the download under the Install this update section>Catalog.

 

When you are on the Microsoft Update catalog website, you want the first file listed.
