Get a new system, the TG01-1000a is cannot be used with COD, BlackOps and newer games.  This is basically an AMD problem that cannot be fixed in bios.

Call of Duty, Black Ops and other games that cannot run due to Secure Boot Invalid Signature error or TPM attestatioon failure.

This issue has been identified in the following HP models and is fixable

OMEN 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-en1000

The TPM Attestation error you are encountering is related to the your gaming laptop/desktop when it's unable to verify the identity or integrity of its Trusted Platform Module (TPM) chip. This is a known issue on certain AMD platforms that can affect gaming applications, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

Reasons for the Error

  1. TPM Attestation Failure: It occurs because the system fails to recognize the TPM chip's integrity, affecting secure operations required by some applications and games.

  2. Incompatibility or Bug: The issue is specifically noted on AMD platforms, which might have certain incompatibilities or bugs related to TPM firmware.

Steps to Resolve the TPM Issue>

Spoiler

To address these errors, consider following these steps:

  1. Reset TPM:

    • After the BIOS update, follow the system's instructions to reset the TPM. This might involve changes in BIOS settings or clearing the TPM.
    • Be aware that resetting TPM might require resetting your Windows PIN.

  2. Find BitLocker Recovery Key:

    • If your system uses BitLocker, resetting TPM will require the recovery key. Retrieve your BitLocker recovery key by following Microsoft's guide.

  3. Reset Windows PIN:

    • Ensure Secure Boot is enabled in your BIOS settings. This can be accessed during system startup before your operating system loads.
  4. Update BIOS:

Those TPM Attestation errors, in the following legacy models, will not be fixed.

OMEN 15-en0xxx Laptop PC Series
HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec0xxx Laptop PC series
OMEN Desktop PC 25L GT12-0xxxa
OMEN Desktop PC 30L GT13-0xxxa

HP does not intend to release a BIOS update with Trusted Platform Modules (TPM) v3.92.5.5 for the above legacy platforms. After a TPM update, TPM data is required to be cleared, which might clear the TPM outside the Windows API. This behavior is undesired. Note that those platforms are systems with an AMD Ryzen 1000 to Ryzen 5000 series desktop and notebook processor.

Possible workaround for Call of Duty discovered by our upgrade expert NonSequitur777

Spoiler

  1. Navigate to your Call of Duty installation folder on your desktop.
  2. Locate cod broker service and enroll Aik.
  3. Right-click each executable, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and check Run this program as an administrator.
  4. Launch the game. When the 'Attestation Wizard' pops up, spam the 'Dismiss/Play' button. This is supposed to force the game client to bypass the local hardware log check and check your active Windows token instead.

Alternate way to play using the subscription service GeForce Now as explained by NonSequiture777

Unfortunately, your motherboard) faces a permanent "BIOS Update Required" error in Call of Duty because it's final BIOS fails to write TCG-compliant event logs, and HP has confirmed no further patches will be issued for your legacy PC. While users can attempt to force compliance via manual key re-enrollment in the BIOS, they will not receive a definitive fix from HP, unlike other manufacturers who patched similar issues. Read more here.

You should consider using NVIDIA GeForce NOW to bypass hardware issues such as what you experience. It completely sidesteps the fact that your motherboard is stuck on an outdated, unpatched BIOS.

The reason this works highlights a major benefit of cloud gaming:

1. Your Local BIOS No Longer Matters:

When you stream a game like Call of Duty: Warzone or Black Ops 7 via GeForce NOW, the game client and Activision's RICOCHET anti-cheat do not run on your physical HP desktop. Instead, they execute on enterprise-grade cloud servers maintained by Nvidia.

    • Cloud-Side Integrity: The server rigs already possess pristine, fully compliant enterprise BIOS environments and virtualized security parameters.

    • Local Exemption: Your local PC is essentially just a video streaming terminal. RICOCHET never inspects your local motherboard's non-standard TCG boot log, so the local firmware flaw never triggers a block.

2. Experience RTX 5080 Performance:

By subscribing to the GeForce NOW Ultimate tier, your inputs are beamed to a cloud virtual machine powered by an RTX 5080 equivalent GPU. This acts as a massive performance upgrade over the GTX 1660 Ti that originally shipped with your Omen Obelisk, allowing you to push maximum graphical settings, DLSS features, and high frame rates that your local hardware could never natively achieve.

Important Caveats for Call of Duty Players:

Before jumping into cloud gaming for Call of Duty, keep two critical factors in mind:

    • Platform Server Glitches: Even though the cloud infrastructure passes attestation by default, the community has occasionally flagged cloud-specific matchmaking bugs. For instance, players have noted instances where GeForce NOW CoD Party Matchmaking fails with an attestation error specifically when grouping up with friends, even though Solo matchmaking functions perfectly. Ensure you check community threads if you intend to play heavily in parties.

    • Network Requirements: Because your local PC isn't rendering the game, your experience heavily relies on your internet connection. Nvidia recommends a hardwired Ethernet connection or a stable 5 GHz Wi-Fi signal with less than 80ms of network latency to prevent input lag in fast-paced competitive shooters.

If you plan to test this route, you can find a breakdown of regional subscription options and connection tests directly via the official Nvidia GeForce NOW System Requirements Page.
