New laptop with expired warranty. How do I update the warranty period.

Just purchased a new Pavilion laptop. But it shows an expired warranty. Could you please support to update the warranty.

HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.

So the longer the time elapses from assembly date to the purchase date, the less time remains on the warranty.

Please contact HP customer service beginning at the link below and submit a support request to have the warranty start and end dates adjusted to the date you purchased the PC.
