Hi @Pavan63

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for the detail—that charging port light is a helpful clue. It suggests that power is reaching the laptop, but something’s preventing it from turning on.

Let’s walk through a few targeted steps to revive it:

Quick Fixes for “No Power” with Charging Light On

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Disconnect the charger and remove the battery (if removable).
  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to discharge residual power.
  • Reconnect the battery and charger, then try powering on.

Check for Display Issues

  • Shine a flashlight at the screen—if you see faint images, the backlight may be faulty.
  • Try connecting to an external monitor to rule out display failure.

Inspect RAM Modules

  • If you're comfortable opening the laptop, reseat the RAM sticks.
  • A loose or faulty RAM module can prevent booting even if power is present.

BIOS Recovery Attempt

  • Press and hold Windows + B, then press and hold the power button for 2–3 seconds.
  • Release all keys and wait—this may trigger BIOS recovery on some HP models.

Still No Luck?

  • Try a different power adapter if available—sometimes the voltage is insufficient even if the light is on.
  • Check for fan noise or keyboard lights—any signs of life help narrow down the issue.
  • If the battery is internal and the laptop still won’t respond, it may need a service-level diagnosis.

Let me know your laptop model or if you’ve tried any of these already—I’ll tailor the next steps. You’ve got the persistence, and I’ve got your back. Let’s crack this together.
