If the 527sh monitor doesn't support VESA mounting, what is the best way to mount two side by side monitor screens?

@MCAJG, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
You're correct, the HP Series 5 27-inch FHD Height Adjust Monitor - 527sh does not support VESA mounting.

Here are a few practical ways to mount or position two of these monitors side by side:

Use a Dual Monitor Stand with Clamps or Shelves (Non-VESA)

Look for non-VESA dual monitor stands that use adjustable clamps or shelves to hold the monitor from the bottom or sides. These are designed for monitors without VESA compatibility.

  • Search for terms like:
“Non-VESA dual monitor stand with clamps” or
“Universal monitor shelf stand for non-VESA monitors”

Use the Built-in Adjustable Stands

The 527sh comes with a height- and tilt-adjustable stand, which allows for a decent side-by-side setup on a wide desk.

  • Align both monitors manually.
  • Use monitor risers or desk mats to help with alignment and cable management.

Consider a Monitor Mount Adapter Kit

Some third-party kits convert non-VESA monitors to VESA-compatible using adhesive plates or brackets. However, use caution with these, as they may not be officially supported and could void warranty or damage the monitor.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
