@Julse, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To adjust the print size when printing from your Android phone, you can follow these steps to ensure your printouts match the desired size:

Install the HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart App from the Google Play Store. This app provides enhanced tools for managing printing tasks.

Adjust Print Settings:

  • Open the document, photo, or webpage you want to print on your Android device.
  • Tap the Menu icon (three dots usually at the top right corner) and select Print. If this option is not available, look for it under Share or Export options.
  • Select your printer from the list of available printers.
  • Tap the Down arrow under the preview screen to adjust print settings like paper size, page orientation, number of copies, etc. Make sure the page size is set to the desired dimensions.

Use HP Print Service Plugin:

  • Ensure the HP Print Service Plugin is installed and turned on. This plugin allows you to print from Android devices to most HP printers.

Check Document/Page Setup:

  • Ensure the document or webpage is formatted correctly before printing. Sometimes files are designed with larger dimensions, which translate directly to larger print sizes.

Scale or Resize:

  • Depending on the app and document type, there might be options to scale or resize the content before printing. Look for any scaling settings such as "Fit to Page" that would automatically adjust the printout to fit the paper size.

View Print Preview:

  • Always check the print preview before sending it to the printer. This verifies exactly how the document will look on paper and allows further adjustments if necessary.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
