Microsoft Windows 11

This has nothing to do with HP OmniBook.  This is in reference to Window 11/MS Word.  I have been struggling with how to set up the printer, to print directly on a label.  It has our preprinted address on the top (single/peel and stick, and a zone inside (which is 4.5 long by 1.5 wide) to print the address we are sending the item to.  The total size of this label is 5.5 Long by 4 inches tall.  Can anyone help me with the correct setup in MS Word and anything I need to change on the printer itself?  Thank You.

Please go to the site of the label vendor to find a TEMPLATE for it and install to your computer

Hi:  Thanks for the advise, but the label is a one square only, printed by an outside printing service.  There is no template in Word that I can find that fits it.  Plus the printer only see's that the paper in the tray is not a 8 1/1 x 11.  So I go to the screen on the printer, and choose the smallest size to the label.  With the guides in place in the tray, it puts the label in the center of the tray.  Now when I go to print, it prints all the way to the left side, where there is no paper to print on.  Its a real pain.  But Thanks again for responding.

MS Word ONLY has templates for popular labels (actually supplied from label vendors). I did say go to the vendor site to download a template.

What is the paper code from who ?

Hi:  Sorry if I did not explain it correctly.  The label is a standalone done by a local printer.  Will attach a copy of it so you can see.  I don't think any company that makes labels provides this single sized label.  That is why I am having a problem.  I do appreciate your help.

Thanks, Lois

Sorry, I don't have hardware to test.

Thanks for trying.  I think I may have found a way to fool the printer into seeing the label as a letter.  If this works my problem is solved.
