my laptop only supports 16gb memory RAM in total, I run this command in the CMD “wmic memphysical get Maxcapacity, memorydevices” . I got the following: MaxCapacityEx 33554432 MemoryDevices 2. Which would mean that my laptop does support 32gb of RAM in total, but HP support told me that it only supports 16gb in total. I want to have 24gb of RAM in my laptop (8x1 + 16x1) but I don't know if I can add 16gb memory to it. Does anyone who has checked know which of the two options is true? This is my laptop:
Victus Gaming Laptop Computer 15-fa1312TX (9X3L6PA).
12th Gen intel corei5-12450H 2GHz
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 4GB
RAM DDR4 8GB 3200 MHz NT8GA64D88CX3S-JR

Yes you can use 2x16 GB, if you wish to save few bucks you can use 8GB + 16GB but you won't get full benefit of dual channel architecture.
Regards.
