Just started using was gift purchased in July 2024. Was using today with no problems. Battery needed charging. Plugged in and no sign of charging. Only picture on screen and no way to sign on. Bad charger? Bad PC.? Why do I have pic on screen without being able to sign in ? HP said warranty expired 1/2/2025. Anyone know what is wrong? Return time from Amazon over. I am a senior citizen and need some help please.

I'm really sorry to hear that you're experiencing these issues with your new laptop, especially after just starting to use it. I understand how frustrating and concerning this must be, and I'm here to help you figure it out.
- When you press the power button, do you see any lights on the laptop or charger indicating power?
- Have you tried using a different power outlet or charger to see if the laptop responds?
- Does the picture on the screen change at all when you press keys or move the mouse?
May I have the exact name and product number of the unit? Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
