HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ew0000 (549V4AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a ENVY 360 6 months out of warranty which has a broken right hand hinge causing the screen to separate and the corner of the screen has cracked, how do I get this repaired?

It has no other damage and is clearly a result of poor manufacturing in the fixing of the hinge.

Is is possible that HP may  repair it even out of warranty.  The warranty starts when you received received the system which may be different from the manufacturing date.

It might be useful to lubricate the hinge as I suspect that caused the problem.

Or just do a general search

Let me know what you find out.

It is definitely out of warranty.

I am having difficulty locating a service repair shop.

Can this be repaired as warranty as it is a manufacturing defect ?
