How to Open or Use the SD Card Slot on HP ProBook 465 16-inch G11 Notebook PC

This model uses a simple push-in, push-out SD card slot. There is no cover and no tray to open.

 

Steps to Insert an SD Card

Locate the SD card slot on the right side of the laptop.

Hold the SD card with the metal contacts facing down and toward the laptop.

Push the SD card straight into the slot until it clicks into place.

 

Steps to Remove the SD Card

Press the SD card once.

The card will spring outward.

Pull the card out carefully.

 

Important Notes

No tool or SIM pin is required.

The slot is already open; you only push the card in.

Some configurations of the ProBook 465 G11 do not include the SD card slot.
