Scanner adding Copy watermark

I have HP Envy 6020e printer. I scanned my uni transcript and HP is adding a Copy watermark on my doc. How can I remove it?

I am not aware of a way that HP Scan, the HP Smart (Windows) app, or the HP App could add a Watermark to scanned content.  Windows Scan does not add Watermarks to scanned content.

What did you use to scan the content?

Are you seeing odd additions / Watermarks on other scans?

Watermarks are added under circumstances where the user (you) completes certain steps to create and add the watermark to documents or printed content.

Watermarks might be present in documents or content you receive or download.

Examples --

Word can be set to create and add a Watermark to the document.

HP Universal Print / HP Smart Printing supports adding a Watermark to printed content.

In both cases, the steps to add the watermark are deliberate.
