I've been trying to play Call of Duty but when I launch the game I get a message saying that Secure Boot is not enabled.

I've been looking in my 'System Information' screen and I've noticed that 'Secure Boot State' is currently off. I've gone into the Bios screen and this is showing Enabled.

My Bios mode is UEFI.

I've followed the guides that the makers of the game has given and checked forums but this is still not working. In the guide it mentions 'Legacy Support' in the Bios screen which I don't have.

Is there any way to get this enabled in the System Information screen?

@MailmanUK1980 :Thank you for your patience,

We know this isn't the answer many customers were hoping for.

Our engineers' latest advice is to follow the steps in the Technical Knowledge Base (TKB).
Resetting the TPM might fix the issue for some computers, but it can also affect Windows security settings and may require extra setup or recovery. That's why we included a warning so you can decide whether to try it. BIOS updates are carefully tested before release. For older products that are no longer supported, we may not be able to release new BIOS updates.

At this time, this is our final recommendation. If anything changes in the future, we'll share an update through our community.

Thank you for the update. Is there a newer version of the motherboard I have?

Hi  @MailmanUK1980

Thanks for reaching out!

I Understand your concern, Regarding your question about a newer BIOS version, motherboard revisions and available firmware updates vary by model.
For BIOS Updates

  • Visit the  https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
  • Enter your product name, product number, or serial number.
  • Select your operating system.
  • Expand BIOS - Firmware and install the latest available BIOS update.

If your device does not already have the latest BIOS version, please refer to:

If your product is not listed in the HP document above, please review AMD's guidance:

As mentioned by the previous engineer, you can find the latest BIOS version by following Step 4 (Update BIOS) above.

I hope this helps.
