I tried to clean my data on this laptop and ran into this issue shown in picture. Is there something I can do on my end to fix it? If not, what can I do to avoid data leak?(At this point I am not sure if the data cleaning is finish or not)

You'll have to install a new NVMe SSD and reinstall the operating system.
Below is the service manual where you can find the SSD removal and replacement procedure:
After you replace the drive, use the HP cloud recovery tool on another PC to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will restore the original HP factory software image on the new drive.
