Microsoft Windows 11

Hello HP Community,
I am using an HP laptop with a backlit keyboard. The keyboard backlight is working properly on all keys, but the spacebar does not light up at all.
I have already tried:
Increasing keyboard backlight brightness using Fn + backlight key
Checking in a dark environment
Restarting the laptop
The issue persists, and only the spacebar remains unlit while other keys are illuminated normally.
This appears to be either a manufacturing defect or an issue with the keyboard light guide.
My laptop is currently under warranty

Welcome to the HP Community --

The space bar does not light.

The behavior is normal.

Said another way --

It's not a defect -- the keyboard is working as designed.

True - I do not know whether the limitation is clearly explained in any of the documents.
