Hi @Nil97,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for reaching out.

It’s good that you've already turned off the laptop and used silica gel to help with drying. However, it’s important to be cautious when dealing with water damage. Since there is still some water on the screen, I recommend that you avoid turning the laptop back on until you're sure it’s completely dry. If possible, leave it in a dry, warm area for a bit longer to ensure all the moisture is gone.

If you're still concerned or notice any unusual behavior after it’s dry, I would suggest you reply here for further assistance or taking it to an authorized HP service center for a thorough check.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
