The latest firmware version had a promising fix in its readme on fixes with HP Z27q monitor not diplaying properly, however I cannot get the installer to complete, error message is about a missing target but it only shows the first letters on what the path to the missing target would be so cannot verify that. The installer does not run for the second time, not even after deleting the SWUpdate -folder.

The issue I was hoping to be fixed was using E27q -display on macOS. I have a dual display setup on displayport. Dell P2425 shows the macOS image perfectly, but E27q complains about non-supported display mode at 121.7 kHz / 100 Hz  where both numbers are a bit high and the question remains why does Dell recognize the signal properly but HP does not? Anyway, was hoping that the fixed issue had something to do with that. So has anyone been successful with installing the said firmware update or is it just a buggy release?
