I just purchased a HP All-in-One wireless touch screen desktop computer and the physical keyboard is not working but the onscreen keyboard is working perfectly. I’ve changed the batteries but still nothing is working. What should I do now?

Hi @Ella1570

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your wireless keyboard is having trouble connecting to your HP All-in-One desktop.

Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check the Keyboard's Power:

Ensure the batteries are inserted correctly and are fresh. Even if you've replaced them, double-check the orientation.

Reconnect the Keyboard:

If your keyboard uses a USB receiver, unplug it and plug it back into a different USB port.

If the keyboard connects via Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your computer. Go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Bluetooth & other devices" and try re-pairing the keyboard.

Restart Your Computer:

A simple restart can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Update Drivers:

Open "Device Manager" and look for "Keyboards."

Right-click on your keyboard and select "Update driver." Follow the prompts to install any updates.

Reset the Keyboard:

Some wireless keyboards have a reset button. Check the user manual for instructions on how to reset your specific model.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
