Hi @bouchra-touati, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The yellow tint on your HP 17" Ryzen 3 laptop screen could be caused by several factors, and you’ve already tried some solutions. Let’s go through a few key troubleshooting steps to determine the cause and possible fixes:

Check Night Light Settings

Windows has a built-in Night Light feature that reduces blue light, making the screen appear warmer.

  • Go to: Settings > System > Display > Night Light
  • If it's turned on, disable it and see if the screen returns to a normal color.

Adjust Color Calibration

Windows allows you to recalibrate your display colors manually.

  • Go to: Settings > Display > Advanced display settings > Color calibration
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to adjust the white balance.

Check Graphics Driver Settings

Your GPU settings might be affecting the screen color.

For AMD Graphics (since you have a Ryzen CPU):

  • Right-click on Desktop > Open AMD Adrenalin Software
  • Go to Display settings > Look for any "Color Temperature" or "Color Settings"
  • Try resetting to default settings or adjust manually.

Update or Reinstall Display Drivers

  • Press Win + X > Device Manager
  • Expand Display Adapters
  • Right-click your graphics driver > Update driver
  • If the issue persists, try Uninstalling and then reinstalling the latest drivers from HP’s website or AMD’s official site.

Check HP Display Settings (HP Command Center or Omen Gaming Hub)

  • Some HP laptops have a "Comfort View" or "Eye Ease" setting in HP Command Center that may be applying a warm color filter.
  • Check for these settings and try disabling them.

Connect an External Monitor

  • If the external display does not have a yellow tint, then the issue is likely hardware-related with your laptop’s screen.
  • If both screens have a yellow tint, it's probably a software setting.

Perform a BIOS Update

  • Check HP website to see if there's a BIOS update available for your model, as some display issues can be firmware-related.

Factory Reset (Last Resort)

  • If nothing works, consider resetting Windows:
    • Settings > System > Recovery > Reset this PC
    • Choose Keep my files to avoid data loss.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
