Hi @soinan,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

To provide detailed explanation about the suitability for task like Machine learning and solidworks.

For light ML tasks and SolidWorks projects, your HP Pavilion 14 Plus with an integrated GPU could be quite feasible, especially if you are working on simpler models and smaller datasets.

Optimizing Performance:

  • Keep your system's drivers and software up-to-date.
  • Maintain good airflow and cooling, as heavy computational tasks can increase temperature.
  • Use external storage for large datasets to keep your primary drive uncluttered, ensuring it operates efficiently.
  • Consider upgrading RAM if the current capacity is limiting, and if the laptop supports it.

I hope this helps.

Hi @soinan,

Thanks for your response.

The Pavilion 14 series, the GPU is typically integrated into the motherboard, which means it is not upgradeable .
