Hi @MisterB205,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • Does the blue screen appear only when the charger is plugged in, or does it also happen on battery power?
  • Do you see any additional error text besides the code?

 Troubleshooting Steps You Can Try

  • Check Windows Event Viewer: After a crash, open Event Viewer → Windows Logs → System. Look for critical errors around the time of the blue screen. This can give clues about the driver or hardware involved.
  • Update Power Management Drivers: Even if BIOS is up to date, make sure chipset and power management drivers from HP’s support site are installed. These often fix charging‑related crashes.
  • Disable Fast Startup: In Power Options → Choose what the power buttons do, disable Fast Startup. It sometimes causes instability when switching between battery and AC power.
  • Run Windows Memory Diagnostic: Faulty RAM can cause blue screens. Type Windows Memory Diagnostic in the Start menu and run the test.
  • Check for Windows Updates: Ensure you’re on the latest cumulative update for Windows 11, as Microsoft frequently patches blue screen issues.
  • Safe Mode Test: Boot into Safe Mode and plug in the charger. If the crash doesn’t occur, it may be a driver conflict rather than hardware.

I hope this helps.
