HP Recommended
The fingerprint scanner is not working, and I cannot find it in the biometrics section of the Device Manager. Additionally, when checking for updates, it indicates that the option is currently unavailable. I am unable to find a fingerprint scanner that is compatible with Windows Hello.

Fingerprint scanner is an option. Did you buy that option for your computer ? Please note: There are many different options/configurations/combinations for HP Elitebook 840 G6 machines.
