hinge on victus breaking

I have read lots of other users have broken hinges under normal use from the HP victus. I wish to contact someone at HP and get a solution. the laptop is not fit for purpose if the hinge breaks. My son saved hard and bought his first laptop. This is not good enough. our local repair shop can not source replacement hinges. 

Has anyone managed to get a repair or solution.
