my system got crashed and tried to take my backup and it asking the bitlocker key. how do i get it. My system was not registered in microsoft

If you didn't export the BitLocker key to your Microsoft account or save it somewhere, you won't be able to recover it.

 

In order to use your notebook again, you will have to clean install Windows on the encrypted drive and during the installation, run the Dispart utility to clean the disk so you can continue with the installation process.


All data on the drive is encrypted and will not be able to be recovered without the BitLocker key.
