@AAkashVerma, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're experiencing an issue where the Windows key is not working on your HP Notebook running Windows 11. Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot and resolve this:

Basic Checks

  1. External Keyboard Test: If available, connect an external USB keyboard and check if the Windows key works. This helps determine if it's a hardware or software issue.
  2. Check for Physical Damage: Ensure the key isn't physically stuck or damaged.

Restart Windows Explorer

Sometimes, restarting Windows Explorer can fix unresponsive keys.

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  2. Find Windows Explorer in the list.
  3. Right-click it and select Restart.

Check Filter Keys

Filter Keys can sometimes interfere with keyboard input.

  1. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard.
  2. Make sure Filter Keys is turned off.

Update or Reinstall Keyboard Driver

  1. Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
  2. Expand Keyboards.
  3. Right-click your keyboard device and choose Update driver.
  4. If that doesn’t help, right-click again and select Uninstall device, then restart your PC. Windows will reinstall the driver automatically.

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

HP provides a built-in tool to test your keyboard:

  1. Turn off the notebook.
  2. Turn it back on and immediately press Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  3. Press F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
  4. Select Component Tests > Keyboard Test and follow the prompts.

Check for Windows Updates

  1. Go to Settings > Windows Update.
  2. Install any pending updates and restart your PC.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
