@Petropan1000,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

The CT number of an HP Pavilion All-in-One 24-x051ng (2PT40EA) as fitted with the "Kazon-UFKBL-S" motherboard (p/n: 922741-001 / 922741-501 / 922741-601) can be seen in this Kazon motherboard picture: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/JqQAAOSwSadf6iPd/s-l1600.webp.

@Petropan1000,

My bad: the Pavilion AIO 24-x051ng's motherboard CT number is typically located on a sticker or printed on the board itself, underneath the SODIMM memory modules.

To access the CT number, you will need to:

  1. Open the memory access door on the back of your all-in-one PC.
  2. Remove the memory module(s). The CT number is often in this area, printed directly onto the green circuit board or on a sticker.
  3. Locate the CT number as a 14-digit sequence printed in two lines.

Kind Regards,

There is no CT Number, nothing.

@Petropan1000,

If no CT number label is visible on your Pavilion 24-x051ng’s "Kazon-UFKBL-S" motherboard -even after removing the memory modules -apparently, that is not unusual.

HP occasionally shipped this board (p/n: 922741-001 / -501 / -601) without a printed or stickered CT number, especially on units assembled by Compal for HP's EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region -like yours, incidentally. In such cases, HP's service tools retrieve the CT number digitally from the system's DMI/SMBIOS data rather than from a physical sticker.

You can check that by pressing F1 or F10 at startup to enter the System Information or BIOS screen -the CT number, if present, will appear there under Board ID, Baseboard Serial Number, or System Board CT Number.

If it still shows "Not Available", the only other way HP Service can reference it is via your System Serial Number (located on the rear chassis label). HP's internal database maps the serial to the corresponding board CT.

So, summarizing:

  • Some Pavilion 24-x0xxx boards do not have a physical CT sticker.

  • You can verify the board CT (if recorded) through BIOS → System Information.

  • If absent, your system serial number serves the same purpose for parts matching.

Kind Regards,
