Can I safely remove all SW files on my computer to free up space

If you are referring to the SWSetup folder, you can delete it.

 

That contains the driver and software installation files that you run to install the drivers and software that are already installed on your PC.

 

My recommendation is before you delete the folder, copy that folder to a portable hard drive in case you ever need a software or driver installation file that is not on your notebook's support page.
