@mskulkarni, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear about your keyboard troubles! Here are some steps you can try to get your HP wireless keyboard working again:
Check the Battery Orientation: Ensure the new AAA batteries are inserted correctly, with the positive and negative ends aligned as indicated in the battery compartment.
Power Cycle the Keyboard: Turn off the keyboard using the power switch (if it has one), wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
Re-sync the Keyboard: If your keyboard uses a USB receiver, try pressing the "Connect" button on both the keyboard and the receiver to re-establish the connection.
Check Bluetooth Settings: If your keyboard connects via Bluetooth, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your PC. Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and ensure your keyboard is listed and connected.
Update Drivers: Sometimes, updating the drivers can resolve connectivity issues. Open Device Manager, find your keyboard under Mice and other pointing devices, right-click, and select Update driver.
Try a Different USB Port: If you're using a USB receiver, plug it into a different USB port on your PC.
Restart Your PC: A simple restart can sometimes fix connectivity issues.
