Hello:

I recently purchased an OBi 300 to be used on a Bogan TPU100B paging amplifier. This amplifier does not have an answering function, which is why I purchased the OBi 300. It is supposed to be able to answer a phone call, and leave the line open for announcements. This is not occurring. Only a dial tone is heard when connected to the Bogan.

I found another conversation where it is stated to do the following while logged into the OBi 300 web interface:

1. Goto menu Physical Interfaces > Call Features.

2. Select the check box for UseForPagingOnly.

3. On a phone connected to the OBi 300, hold the line open until it errors out, and there is silence.

4. Connect the phone line to the paging system.

However, when I connect the phone line from the OBi 300 to the Bogen, the dial tone returns (broadcast over the PA speakers). It then errors out again, but the OBi 300 cannot be dialed into.

Is there a fix for this?
