After updating to Plantronics Hub 3.25 bluetooth headphones are now producing a beeping sound when a call is on hold. This behavior exists with 5220 wired headsets but there is an option to turn off the beeping. What changed that introduced this beeping and how can it be managed by end users?

I have a Plantronics Voyager Focus UC headset and a BT700 Dongle. I have been using this headset for several months and a couple of weeks ago, my headset started beeping every time I place a caller on hold and sometimes continues beeping even when the caller is no longer on hold. I do not want it to beep at all when I have a call on hold. How do I disable this?

HP Recommended

Hello, welcome to the HP Poly community.
Please install the Poly Lens application on your PC and connect the Voyager Focus UC to the PC.
1. Please check for any firmware updates and update them if there are any.
2. Please disable the audio channel tone in the settings of the Poly Lens.
Once done please switch off and switch on the headset to save the settings changed.

Meghana

Meghana,

Thank you for responding. I made sure my  firmware was updated. I was not able to find the setting you mentioned "disable the audio channel tone" in my options. Is there another name it might come under?

Thanks again!

I am in the Poly Lens application on my PC, Under Settings, I select General and the only options that come up are  Call Announcement, Caller ID, Mute Reminder Mode, Online Indicator, Second Incoming Call, Mute On/Off Alerts, Notification Tones. There is no Audio Channel Tone. Please advise.
