Quite literaly, this happened to me and it was the most frustrating. 

 

If the issue is your audio only plays when settings is open, there is a setting that is stuck off.

1) Select your headset in the plantronics hub

2) Turn off Streaming Audio if it is on, if it was off skip to step 5.

3) Disconnect your USB, turn off your headset

4) Plug in your USB, turn on your headset

5) Turn Streaming audio back on

6) Disconnect your USB, turn off your headset

7) Plug in your USB, turn on your headset

 

For some reason, my headset showed streaming audio as on in the settings, but it was clearly off.
