I bought the Backbeat FIT 6100 headphones about 6 months ago and was really enjoying using them for my workouts. All of a sudden they stopped working and wouldn't power on (the led didn't work). I contacted HP Customer Support and they told me that they couldn't do anything because it is not manufactured anymore ( environmental sustainability anyone?). I tried using the audio cable connected to the computer and it worked (sound was on), so I figured it could only be a battery problem. After researching the internet I found a battery replacement on amazon, bought it, took it to a nearby repair store and they replaced it. It works just fine now!

Hope this helps anyone with the same problem, because these are a really nice set of headphones to use for workouts.

Cheers

Hello, @CPS74, and welcome to the HP Poly community.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the Plantronics BackBeat FIT 6100.

This is to inform you that, like the technical support team mentioned, all the BackBeat Series are end-of-life, and the manufacturing has been stopped. However, as the issue is resolved, we do not recommend you purchase the BackBeat Series from third-party sellers as manufacturing has been stopped.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance. If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution more easily by giving Kudos/Thumbs Up and marking my post as an Accepted Solution.
