Hi,

I have a backbeat fit 3200 headset and it was working fine until I switched to my new phone Nokia X30 three months ago. Now only either the left or right earbud will pair with my phone. I've tried unpairing and repairing with my phone and using someone else's phone to pair the earbuds; however the issue is still the same. I also can't tell if the tab function of both buds are working. I've installed the backbeat app and noticed the followings:

1. When I set up taps action, it said failed and asked if the earbuds were both on. They were.

2. When I tried "Touch Control Off", it said "failed to set the preferences".

3. I wanted to reset headset on the app, but the button was not available.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to HP Poly Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

It seems like you have tried almost all the troubleshooting and looks like the headset is faulty, I would request you contact our HP Support to get the headset replaced if it is under warranty, and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. Hi Meghana, thanks for getting back to me. It is not under warranty, What are my other options?

We regret to inform you that there are no other options, however you may try draining the battery of the earbuds completely and try charging the headset completely to 100 and the repair the earbuds to the phone and check if the issue still persists.
