Voyager FOCUS UC

I'm using the Headset a couple of months. It's connect directly with the Bluetooth receiver build-in into my Mac
I have a second Headset from another manufacturer and switching between them frequently.
The other one is much older, but I rate them in the same price and quality category.

I use the same Bluetooth interface and Applications.

Several people reported, that the Voyager FOCUS UC has a significant worse audio quality compared to my other Headset.
Objective feedback is obviously hard to get, I heard: "You sound like an old person".

I couldn't find any related setting (in Poly Lens), which could be changed.

No equalizer functionality available also on the Mac.

Does someone had the same problem and know a solution ?

Is there anything else, I can do or should I let it be checked by HP as guarantee case ?

P.S.: The sound on my side via the loudspeakers is OK.

Hi @RyderHook Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.

I'm sorry to learn that you're experiencing issues with the Voyager Focus UC headset. Please follow the troubleshooting steps below and test the headset:

1. Connect the headset directly to the PC, bypassing any docking stations.

2. Verify and update the headset's firmware using the Poly Lens application on the PC.

3. Reset or disable the sensors using the Poly Lens application.

4. Reset the headset using the Poly Lens application and then test the headset.

If the issue still persists, I would request you contact our HP Support, and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link.
