Hello! I'm using the Poly Voyager 5200 with my Nothing Phone 1 and I'm having compatibility issues. The audio is never transferred to the headset when answering or making call. Sometimes the phone thinks the headset is paired when it's actually powered off and sometimes there just is no audio at all. The headset does always notify me when there's incoming call. However, I don't really mind the other minor issues, but I wish to get the audio rerouting to work.
I have tried factory resetting the headset, forgetting the headset on my phone, etc. Gone through the diagnostics steps and went through this with Nothing support already, with no help. I have also made sure several times that I have all the call and audio settings on my phone set up properly. There's no other bluetooth devices connected to my Phone, and none to forget other than this.

Thank you for the response, @Mika52
Based on the troubleshooting you've done, it seems the headset is functioning properly with another phone. You may need to contact Nothing Phone support to clear the Bluetooth cache and check if that resolves the issue with your headset.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance. If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution more easily by giving Kudos/Thumbs Up and marking my post as an Accepted Solution.

Hi @Mika52 Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.
I’m sorry to hear you're facing challenges with your Poly Voyager 5200 and Nothing Phone 1. I can understand how difficult it must be, especially after going through all the troubleshooting steps already. Let’s work through a few more things that might help get the audio routing to work properly.
1. Clear Bluetooth Cache (Android):
Sometimes, the Bluetooth cache on Android phones can cause issues with pairing and audio routing. You can try clearing the Bluetooth cache on your Nothing Phone 1:
- Go to Settings > Apps.
- Tap the three dots in the top-right corner and select Show system apps.
- Find Bluetooth in the list and select it.
- Tap Storage and then Clear Cache.
After doing this, restart both the headset and your phone, and see if it helps with the issue.
2. Update the Firmware (Phone & Headset):
Make sure both your headset and phone are on the latest software/firmware versions. Even if you've done this before, sometimes a firmware update can fix compatibility issues.
- For the Poly Voyager 5200, you can use the Poly Lens app to check for firmware updates.
- For your Nothing Phone 1, check under Settings > Software Update.
3. Test with Another Phone/Headset:
If possible, try pairing the Poly Voyager 5200 with another phone or pairing a different Bluetooth headset with your Nothing Phone 1. This can help narrow down whether the issue lies with the headset or the phone itself.
4. Reset Network Settings on Your Phone:
If the Bluetooth connection is still acting up, you might want to try resetting your network settings. This will reset all network-related settings, including Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth connections.
- Go to Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth.
If the issue still persists, I would request you contact our HP Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link.

Hi, thank you for your answer.
After trying to clear bluetooth cache and doing some research, it seems I am unable to clear bluetooth cache, apparently since Android 13 (the clear cache option is greyed out). I tried resetting network and bluetooth settings from restore menu, but it clearly shows that there's still data in bluetooth cache and didn't solve the issue. I also tried to clear it from the developer settings with no luck.
The phone and the headset both have all the latest updates and firmware installed, and I have tried factory resetting the headset. I also checked the headset firmware updates both from mobile app and desktop app.
When testing with OnePlus 12R, the headset works normally and transfers audio to the headset automatically upon making a call, playing the tone indicating an open audio channel.
