Voyager 5200 UC

Hi, I bought this back in Jun'23 and this was the 2nd time to buy since 1st one was really exceptional and was using it on daily basis for almost 2 years. 1st one had really great sound, people would me clearly in the loudest of background noise without hearing the background noise, connection was robust with phone and PC and I had to change because it was worn out. I was always recommending it to anyone whenever Bluetooth headsets discussions were coming up. The 2nd one i bought is really terrible, same conditions and devices, yet I am getting a lot of complains from callers that they are not hearing me or voice is interrupting and connection keeps on disconnecting in the middle of the call. I keep checking fit and downloaded the app to troubleshoot (which i never did in the first one), and still no success and problems are persistent.. The issue is appearing in normal mobile calls & teams calls over Samsung phone or PC.

Hello Omarnounou, welcome to the HP Poly community.
I am extremely sorry for the trouble caused to you with the Voyager 5200 UC.

Could you please try a few troubleshooting steps and let me know if the issue persists?
1. Could you please check if there are any firmware on the Poly Lens application by connecting the headset to the PC updates and update them?
2. Could you please restore the settings to default on the Poly Lens application?

3. Could you please reset and disable the sensors and check if the issue resolves?
Reset sensors:
You may need to reset the sensors if they are not working as expected. w
• Wearing the headset, tap the Call button to test sensors. A talk time voice alert means sensors are working. A tone or lack of voice prompts means sensors need to be reset.
• To reset the sensors, power on the headset, connect the headset to a USB cable and plug the cable into your computer's USB port or an AC wall adapter (not included). Then place the headset on a flat, non-metallic surface for more than 10 seconds.
Disable sensors:
• You can disable your headset smart sensors in Poly Lens App or by using a button press while your headset is idle. Simultaneously press and hold the Call and Mute buttons for 5 seconds. You hear "smart sensors off."

Regards,
Meghana
