Neither can I.  I do not see the option on the new PolyLens app.  Please advise!

Hello, welcome to the HP Poly community.
Unfortunately, we cannot connect the Poly Voyager 5200 to the tile application.

You used to be able to. What happened?

Hello, welcome to the HP Poly community.
I am sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the Poly Voyager 5200.
Please follow the steps provided below and let us know if it helps.
Plantronics Hub app:

  1. Download the Plantronics Hub app on your smartphone or tablet.
For details about the Plantronics Hub app, check out the Plantronics website.
  2. Launch the app and update your Plantronics firmware to the latest version.
  3. Ensure your headset says Connected.
  4. Tap the Apps button, then tap Tile.
  5. At the bottom of the Tile screen, select Enable Tile.
  6. The app displays the Launch Tile button.
  7. Tap Launch Tile to download the Tile app.

Tile app:

Make sure the wireless headset is charged and powered on in order to activate the Tile integration, then:

  1. Download the Tile app on your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Create and confirm your account.
  3. Open the Tile app.
  4. On the home screen of the app, tap the + sign at the top left corner.
  5. Under Activate a Tile Enabled Device, select Plantronics.
  6. Select your Plantronics device and follow the on-screen instructions.

There is no Plantronics Hub app anymore and the replacement Poly app doesn't have the functionality to enable Tile.

HP Recommended

Please install the Poly Lens application and connect the headset and follow the same steps.

Why did they remove this option. It was one of the reasons that I have stuck with this headset.

HP Recommended

It's not possible to do this because the feature has been taken away.  It would be helpful if someone who knows the app could respond to these posts, rather than someone who is just reading from an out-of-date document.

On a positive note, although it's no longer possible to enable the feature on a new headset, my headset, which I did enable previously, can now be found again using Tile.  I don't know why it stopped for a while - the headset was charged. I do see a new version of the Tile App was posted so perhaps the Tile App had the feature removed and added again.
