Voyager FOCUS UC B825 USB-C
Microsoft Windows 11

I just bought a Voyager Focus UC, have installed Poly Lens and updated the BT700 and the headset firmware.
Initially i was experiencing bad sound quality for call by teams using only BT connection but audio was fine and i figured that it could be by the Bluetooth 4.1 connection, despite having good audio quality with music for instance.
After updating i removed the BT connection to W11 and started using the connection by BT700 dongle in which improved quite a lot the audio quality in calls, but i saw that i had lost the possibility to listen to audio elsewhere (music, videos, etc).

Is there something that i am doing wrong? I have connected once again by BT for the audio and using the BT700 for calls, is this correct or should i be able to have audio also just by the BT700? I've tried everything that i could find on the internet to try and solve it.

Thank you

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the Poly Voyager Focus UC.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please try the steps to pair and configure the headset?

Connect to PC:

Your Bluetooth USB adapter provides the best connection, softphone functionality, and acoustic sound quality through your headset. The adapter comes pre-paired to your headset.

1. Turn on your headset and insert the Bluetooth USB adapter into your laptop or PC.

2. The USB adapter LED flashes and then turns solid to indicate the headset is connected to the USB adapter. If you are wearing your headset, you hear “PC connected” to indicate the connection has been established. When on a call, the LED on the USB adapter flashes blue. When not on a call, the LED is solid.

3. Load the Poly Lens Desktop App by visiting poly.com/lens. This allows you to customize your headset behavior through advanced settings and options.

Configure USB adapter:

Your high-fidelity Bluetooth USB adapter comes ready to take calls. If you want to listen to music, you will need to configure your Bluetooth USB adapter.

Windows:

1. To configure your Bluetooth USB adapter to play music, go to Start menu > Control Panel > Sound > Playback tab. Select Poly BT700 or Plantronics BT600, set it as the Default Device, and click OK.

2. To pause music when you place or receive calls, go to Start menu > Control Panel > Sound > Communications tab and select the desired parameter.

Mac:

1. To configure the Bluetooth USB adapter, go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Sound. On both the Input and Output tabs, select Poly BT700 or Plantronics BT600.
