Hi @maneel,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your HP X1000 Wireless Gaming Headset. Here are some steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

1. Check Basic Connectivity:

  • Try a Different USB Port: If you're using a USB dongle for the wireless connection, plug it into another port.
  • Test on Another Device: Check if the headset works with a different computer or device.

2. Update Drivers:

  • Check Device Manager:
    • Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
    • Look for "Sound, video, and game controllers" or "Other devices".
    • If you see the headset with a yellow triangle, right-click and select Update driver > Search automatically for drivers.
  • Manually Install HP Drivers:
  • Go to HP's official support website
  • Search for "HP X1000 Wireless Gaming Headset".
  • Download and install any available drivers or firmware updates.

3. Reset Bluetooth and Re-Pair the Headset (if applicable):

  • For Bluetooth Connection:
    • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
    • Remove the headset, restart the PC, and re-pair it.
  • For USB Dongle:
    • Unplug the dongle.
    • Restart the computer.
    • Plug the dongle back in and check if it’s detected.

4. Run the Windows Troubleshooter:

  • Type Troubleshoot in the Windows search bar and select Troubleshoot settings.
  • Click on Additional troubleshooters and select Playing Audio.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

If these steps don't

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
