Bluetooth Headset Bluetooth

Poly Voyager Focus 2:

Regardless of whether I use Bluetooth or a USB DECT adapter, the headset seems to need 2 seconds of audio before it will switch out of power-saving mode.  That's an important chunk of the beginning of a voicemail message or a text-to-speech audio. How do I turn off power saving mode on the Poly Voyager Focus 2?  The only way I can figure out to do this is to play music on my computer the whole time so my headset knows it should stay on.

Hello @DeAdam, Welcome to the HP Poly Support Community.

Thank you for reaching out with your query regarding your Poly Voyager Focus 2 headset.

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing—I completely understand how important it is for your headset to perform reliably,  Let’s work together to get this resolved as smoothly as possible.

To begin, I’d kindly recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Update the headset firmware
Please ensure the firmware is up to date using the Poly Lens application on your PC. This can help resolve known issues and improve performance.
  2. Disable the headset wearing sensors
In the Poly Lens app, try disabling the wearing sensor feature and test the headset again to see if the behavior improves.
  3. Reset the headset
You can also try performing a headset reset via the Poly Lens application to restore default settings and clear any configuration conflicts.

Take care and have an amazing day!
