HP H10 Pro TWS Earphone

I have been using this HP H10 Pro TWS Earphone for 2 years now. Recently, the left ear bud just does not connect.

i tried resetting both earphones and the right one resets just fine but the touch reset method doesnt work on the left bud. It does not show the red and white flashing lights when pressed. But it somehow turns off and on and and the sound of " Power on " can be heard but it doesnt play audio, the pause/play/volume up/skip music touch functions dont work either.

Only the right one works perfect.

So far for the left one, when i put it in the case it shows a red light ( for charging? ) and when i take it out it shows a white light and then the white light blinks ( for power on and pairing?? not sure ) and then the light just stops.

Hi @smrew

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your left earbud is experiencing connection or functionality issues, and despite trying to reset it, it's still not working properly. Here are some potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can take to try and resolve the issue.

1. Check the Battery and Charging Case

The red light you’re seeing when placing the left earbud in the charging case suggests that it may be charging, but we want to rule out a charging issue first.

Steps:

Inspect the Charging Case: Ensure the charging case is functioning properly. If the right earbud charges fine but the left one doesn't seem to hold a charge or power on as expected, the issue might be with the charging case’s left-side connectors.

  • Clean the charging pins in both the charging case and the earbud to ensure there’s no dust or debris blocking the connection.
  • Try a different charging cable or charging adapter, just in case the issue is with the power source.

Battery Condition: If the earbud’s battery is too depleted or damaged, it might not charge properly, and hence, not function as expected.

2. Resetting Both Earbuds (Try a Different Method)

You mentioned trying the touch reset method on both earbuds, but it didn’t work for the left earbud. Sometimes, specific combinations or methods might be necessary for your device.

Try the Following Reset Method:

Put Both Earbuds in the Charging Case: Ensure both earbuds are properly seated in their charging slots.

Turn Off Both Earbuds: If the left earbud is on, it should automatically turn off when placed in the case. If it doesn't, you might need to manually turn it off by pressing the button for a few seconds.

Press and Hold the Reset Button on the Case: Some models have a small reset button on the charging case itself. Try pressing and holding this button for around 10-15 seconds until the indicator lights on the case flash (typically red and white).

  • If there's no reset button, long-press both earbuds simultaneously for about 10 seconds until you hear a "reset" sound or see flashing lights.

Take Both Earbuds Out of the Case: After the reset process, remove both earbuds from the case. Wait for the left earbud to flash white (indicating it's in pairing mode). If it’s still not flashing or connecting, try pairing it with your device again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
