Voyager Free 60+ UC USB-C

Hello, I have been having issued with my voice no longer being picked up properly on calls (android) via bluetooth, or in Google Meet/Zoom meetings on Windows 11 using the UC dongle. People on the other side say they can hardly hear me, in a few instances it came in distorted.

I've done a few recording tests on both android and PC and it seems as if there's an issue with the background noise cancellation. Most times I sound distant, sometimes it barely picks up my voice, and some times it's clear, but it's not consistent. It could run through all 3 of these phases within the same sentence.

I did the factory reset, however it doesn't seem to change the software version. Poly lens still tells me my product is up to date. Issue still persists after the reset.  Not sure what the next steps or solution could be?

Hi @vurg3d, Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.

I'm sorry to hear about the problem. Please follow the troubleshooting steps listed below and test your headset:

1. Set the headset as the default device on your PC and softphone.
2. Verify that the headset firmware is updated to version 5056.
3. Ensure that the default drivers on your PC are up to date.

Next, navigate to Windows Settings > System > Sound > More Sound Settings > Playback. Right-click on the headset and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Advanced' tab, deselect all options within 'Exclusive Mode'. Then, test the headset again.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance. If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution more easily by giving Kudos/Thumbs Up and marking my post as an Accepted Solution.

Regards,

Salman

Hi @M_Salman,

My earbuds are on firmware version 5059

I followed the steps here and ran a microphone test and I still have the same issue. This was with both earbuds in. I then tested them separately. Left bud only my voice came through crystal clear, whereas right bud only is the same distant sounding voice capture as when both are in use.
