Hi @sukant_deb, Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're facing with pairing your BT700 with the Poly Voyager Focus 2 headset. I understand how important it is to have the headset working smoothly, and I appreciate your patience. Since the connection was working fine just two days ago, let's go through some troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:

1. Verify and Update Firmware: Please ensure that the firmware on your headset is up to date by using the Poly Lens application on your PC.

2. Pairing Mode: Double-check that both the headset and the USB adapter are in pairing mode. The headset should blink blue, and the BT700 should blink green and blue.

3. Disconnect Other Devices: Make sure the headset is not connected to any other device during the pairing process with the BT700.

4. Reset the Headset: You can reset the headset through the Poly Lens application and then use the "Pair A New Device" option to initiate a new connection.

5. Test with Another Adapter: If possible, try pairing the headset with a different BT700 adapter or test the BT700 adapter with another headset to help isolate the issue.

If the problem persists, I recommend reaching out to HP Support for further assistance. If the headset is still under warranty, they should be able to assist with a replacement. You can contact HP Support through the following link:

I hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance. If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution more easily by giving Kudos/Thumbs Up and marking my post as an Accepted Solution.

I had the same problem. I had to make sure to first switch of my headset and remove the dongle before removing both devices via the Poly Lens app. Inserting the dongle again immediately put it into pairing mode immediately. I could then activate pairing on the headset to complete the process.

My actual problem though is that the headset random disconnects from my computer for no good reason, I am however unable start a new conversation as I run into an error message saying I don't have permission to do post a question????

You can try, but as of this month there's no solution to the random connection drops beside downgrading the firmware on the dongle to a version put out before summer of 2024.  You can post a question here or contact HP support but you'll just get a canned placebo troubleshooting list.

This is a firmware problem that needs to be fixed on the Poly/HP end.
